About

Wellington Correctional Centre (WCC), an Australian maximum security prison for males and females, is located in Wellington, New South Wales. Significant damage caused to the WCC during the recent mice plague has rendered buildings inhabitable. Time critical repairs to the facilities were required to be carried out. The project consisted of a large number of contractors and stakeholders in a sensitive setting.

Project Management Deliverables
  • Assess the extent of the damage to buildings and infrastructure

  • Present information to insurance broker for approval

  • Develop design solutions to assist with preventing reoccurrence

  • Consider additional works without compromise to timelines

  • Consider potential BCA fire life safety compliance without compromise to the project timeline

  • Project Manager on site for the duration of the works
